The Department of Computer Technologies is located in the campus of Devrek Vocational School, which is affiliated to Bülent Ecevit University.

As well as the software required for the production of technology, it is of great importance to install the hardware we need to use the technology, to install the systems and networks in which the internet and other software are located, and to ensure their security.

The Internet and Network Technologies programme is designed to train graduates who will establish and manage the use of information technology systems. PROGRAMME PROFILE

Programme student quota is 40 people for daytime education. Theoretical and practical courses in the programme are held at Devrek Vocational High School. The education of the programme is formal education.

Students who will graduate from the programme will be equipped with the knowledge and skills related to the use of technology in many different environments in the courses they take during their 2-year education. Students who graduate from the programme will be able to fill the gap of IT personnel needed in public institutions and organisations, IT sector, data processing centres, internet service providers and software and hardware departments of enterprises.

EXAMS ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION

The measurement and evaluation method applied for each course is defined in detail in the EOBS system. In order for a course to be considered successful, the course success score must be at least 50 out of 100 and at the same time, 50 points out of 100 must be obtained from the general or make-up exam.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

In order to graduate from the programme, students must attend all the courses they take. In addition, students are required to complete 30 working days of compulsory internship required for their education. At the end of the 4th semester, they must have taken a total of 120 ECTS courses, have a GPA above 2.00 and at the same time be successful in EDO (Internships).
